2. Sierra Burgess is a Loser

Shannon Purser stars as Sierra Burgess, a high school student who ranks low on her school’s food chain. After popular girl Veronica (Kristine Froseth) accidentally gives out Sierra's phone number to jock/QB Jamey (Centineo) instead of her own, Sierra begins a “text relationship” with Jamey, who believes she is Veronica. Though a stereotypical jock, Jamey shows his soft side while in this text relationship, leading to a real connection between two students who are on opposite ends of the popularity spectrum.
