5. Boomerang (1992)

This 1992 classic is not the highest rated movie out there; however, it is still a great movie. In this film, Murphy portrays Marcus, a player who is used to getting all the girls but doesn’t treat them right. He meets his match when his female boss (Robin Givens) begins to show interest in him but treats men the same way he treats women. It also plays into sexual harassment in the workplace, which is a relevant issue today, and does it in a way which is not usually represented. It would be interesting to see where Marcus is today... and whether or not he's learned his lesson.
