4. Trading Places (1983)

This 1983 movie is Eddie Murphy’s second acting credit ever and is a classic. With a unique plot and a hilarious script, it is close to perfection. The film follows a wealthy business man, Dan Aykroyd, and a down-on-his-luck gambler, Eddie Murphy, who unknowingly switch places due to a bet made by two extremely rich stockbrokers. Aykroyd is framed for a crime and fired and Murphy is given his job. The two eventually figure out what happened and begin plotting their revenge. Maybe in this sequel, or remake, Murphy can play the rich businessman who thinks he’s been fired... Or perhaps he and Aykroyd's character, now both filthy rich, come up with their own crazy bet years later...
