Zoe Kravitz battled anorexia after dieting for film role

Actress Zoe Kravitz developed an eating disorder while losing weight for a film role in her teens.

Rocker Lenny Kravitz's daughter reveals she was slimming for a movie role - and went too far.

She tells Complex magazine, "It was f**ed up, man. You could see my rib cage. I was just trying to lose more weight for the film but I couldn’t see: 'You’re there. Stop'. It was scary."

She has since beaten her anorexia battle and has never felt healthier.

Kravitz adds, "I feel like something has left my body, like some part of me is gone now, something that was making me so insecure. And it feels amazing."
