Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards planning Barbados wedding

Zayn Malik and his singer fiancee, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, are hoping to marry in a romantic beachside ceremony in Barbados.

The One Direction hunk proposed to Edwards in August (13) and the bride-to-be has now revealed the ceremony will take place in the Caribbean.

When asked about possible locations for the nuptials, the British singer told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "I think Barbados. I would like it on the beach. There may well be an Indian element for Zayn's family, I'd like that."

The singer previously revealed she hopes to tie the knot soon because she does not want a long engagement, explaining, "Zayn and I have had no time to start properly planning. The engagement kind of just happened and then we've been away from home all year.

"But put it this way: I don't want to be engaged for 50 years. We'll get there soon."
