Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid 'still together'

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are reportedly still in a relationship, according to a new interview.

The Pillowtalk singer allegedly split from the catwalk beauty because they had issues "that involved communication and getting along", according to reports published on Friday (03Jun16).

The couple, who had been dating since November (15), had not commented specifically on the rumours, but 21-year-old Gigi hinted they were still together by lip syncing to his single Pillowtalk on Snapchat and wearing a 'Z' necklace when she stepped out on Friday (03Jun16).

The model attended Maybelline New York's Beauty Bash at The Line Hotel in Los Angeles that evening and during an interview with Elle.com she mentioned her boyfriend, but didn't refer to him by name.

When asked if she preferred nights in or out, she replied, "Night in. Cook. Paint. Play with my dog. Hang out with my boyfriend. Watch movies. Just chill."

Her father, real estate entrepreneur Mohamed Hadid, appeared to further confirm the news by appearing completely unaware of the split when questioned by a TMZ.com reporter.

He said, "I didn't even know there was a break-up... I'm not even aware of that... I had breakfast with her this morning... I don't think there's anything going on," as the reporter asks him about the split.

Mohamed adds, "I've not met Zayn but I've heard he's a very, very nice guy" and says he is convinced they "probably" are still together.

Gigi was handed the Our New Girlfriend award at 10th annual Guys' Choice Awards just a day after the split rumours on Saturday (04Jun16). During her acceptance speech, she told the audience she wanted to have a funny girlfriend story to tell, but she didn't have one because, "I have always been a good girlfriend, even when in middle school when I have had crushes I have always been kind of nice."

Gigi has previously dated pop stars Joe Jonas and Cody Simpson, while Zayn was engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
