Wiz Khalifa recruits son for new video

Rapper Wiz Khalifa's three-year-old son Sebastian has been recruited to star in his dad's new music video.

The Black and Yellow hitmaker shares little Sebastian with his estranged wife, model Amber Rose, and their only child has landed a touching appearance in Wiz's new promo for Zoney.

The toddler appears in the latter part of the video, enjoying a little father-and-son time at a playground with his dad, reports People.com.

"Hello, my name is Sebastian," he can be heard saying. He then takes Wiz's lead as he repeats sweet phrases like, "I love you daddy", "I miss you daddy", "Yo!" and "What's cracking?", as he also attempts to mimic his dad's famous laugh.

However, the Zoney promo is sure to stir up a little fresh controversy as it begins with the hip-hop star and marijuana aficionado rolling a joint and lighting up on camera. The footage with Sebastian is included towards the end of the video.

It's not the first time Sebastian has joined dad onscreen. He also appeared in Wiz's 2015 video for The Play, which also featured similar scenes of the rapper smoking a joint and spending quality time with his boy.

Wiz, 28, has previously insisted he would always be open about his drug use with his son.

"I think it's all about how you're raised with it," he told E! News in 2012, months before Sebastian was born. "Before, there was a much more negative outtake on it. You know, pot and what it can do, and the effects of it."

"Of course, I'm not going to be smoking right there over the baby because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid. None of that," Wiz continued. "But definitely he's going to know what it is - and he'll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it."

At the time, Amber agreed, adding, "It's just like alcohol, basically. That's how I feel about it, you know. When you're a kid, you know that you're not supposed to drink alcohol, that it's for adults and that's it.

"Our son is just going to know that daddy likes to smoke."

The couple split in 2014 after a year of marriage.
