Winona Ryder has no idea if Beetlejuice sequel will happen
Winona Ryder is really in the dark about the Beetlejuice sequel.
The actress starred in the classic Tim Burton movie about a trouble-making spirit, and as rumours about a follow-up continue to swirl, she wishes she knew more about the director's plans.
Winona is constantly being asked Beetlejuice 2, and feels awful
when she can't answer any questions about the film.
"I feel bad because I don't have a lot of information to offer and
I think people don't really believe me, but it actually is true,"
she tells WENN. "If it all comes together and if the script is
great and Michael (Keaton) and Tim (Burton) are involved... but I
really don't know at this point."
Earlier this week (beg25Jul16), Keaton put the brakes on any
Beetlejuice banter, revealing, "You always hear things, that this
is happening, and people seem to know more about it than I do. It’s
possible that ship has sailed.
"The only way to do it is to do it right. So much of it was
improvised and so much was beautifully handmade by the artist that
is Tim Burton. If you can’t get close to that, you leave it
alone."
