Wilmer Valderrama 'doing great' after split with Demi Lovato
Wilmer Valderrama insists he is "doing great" following his split from Demi Lovato, noting this year has been "a really interesting journey" filled with ups and downs.
The 36-year-old actor and 23-year-old pop star stunned fans in June (16) by announcing they were calling it quits on their six-year romance, and now Wilmer has opened up about the split for the first time in an interview with E! News.
"I'm good, very good," the actor said. "It's been a great summer
for work, I've done some incredible things. This year has become a
really interesting journey already."
Shortly after Demi and Wilmer shared the breakup news, he was cast
as a series regular on hit TV drama NCIS, which is one of the most
popular shows around the world, for its upcoming 14th season.
"To be signed onto something so incredible like NCIS and to have a
couple of movies in the works and producing all the other stuff
that I'm doing... is so fun," he told E! News. "So far, this year
has been explosive and fun. It's going to be super exciting and fun
to join that ongoing train of goodness. So many people love the
show. I'm proud to be creating a new character."
Another thing he's looking forward to in the coming months is
another addition to his extended That 70s Show family, as his
co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are preparing for the
arrival of their second child.
"I mean, it's awesome!" Wilmer gushed. "I'm Uncle Wilmer already,
so I guess I'm Uncle Will two!"
Ashton and Mila are already parents to one-year-old daughter
Wyatt.
