Victoria Beckham's representative shoots down wet pants speculation

A representative for Victoria Beckham has dismissed speculation suggesting the star accidentally wet herself at a London Fashion Week party after she was photographed with a dark patch on her pants.

The singer-turned-fashion designer celebrated the first anniversary of her flagship London store with a star-studded party on Tuesday (22Sep15), with guests including supermodel Naomi Campbell, rocker Noel Gallagher and singer Ellie Goulding.

And Beckham raised eyebrows as she left the boozy bash clutching husband David's arm as there appeared to be a dark stain around the crotch of her black trousers.

Rumours suggested the typically flawless star had suffered a bathroom accident, but her spokesperson has since cleared up the claims.

The representative tells the New York Post's Page Six, "(The stain) was simply the result of the most unfortunate positioning of a spilt drink, whilst Victoria was sitting down. Thankfully it was not a 'dampener' on what was a fantastic night."

Beckham made no mention of the incident on Twitter.com after the bash, when she wrote, "Thank u (sic) to all who helped celebrate the #VBDoverSt first anniversary!"

She also shared photos from the party online on Wednesday (23Sep15) and tweeted, "So much fun last night!"
