Victoria Beckham leads stars writing Mother's Day letters
A host of celebrities including Victoria Beckham and Sharon Osbourne have penned open letters to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday (10May15).
Editors at Time asked several famous family women to write heartfelt articles to their children about the journey of motherhood.
Beckham penned a piece to her four kids with husband David -
Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo, and Harper - called 'It Is Important That
Our Children Understand Humility'.
In the inspirational letter, the pop star-turned-fashion designer
writes, "I hope that I, together with their father, inspire them to
dream big and be the best version of themselves that they can
be."
Osbourne's letter is entitled 'I Cannot Protect You From the World'
and is addressed to the children she shares with rocker husband
Ozzy - Aimee, Jack and Kelly.
She writes, "Then, over a few months, I became a lioness. I'm now
terribly overprotective. I will always stand by you and be there
for you. You'll never fall because I'm there to catch you. But I've
also learned, especially over the past five years, that I can't fix
everything. I cannot protect you from the world."
Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles addressed her letter to the singer,
her sister Solange, close family friend Kelly Rowland, and niece
Angie Beyince.
Other stars to write Mother's Day letters for the magazine include
Ivana Trump and actress Kaitlin Olson.
