Tyra Banks reprising role in Life-Size sequel
Supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks has officially signed on to reprise her role as a doll who comes to life in a sequel to hit Disney TV movie Life-Size.
The runway beauty starred alongside a young Lindsay Lohan in the 2000 film, and Banks is returning to play Eve for Life-Size 2, which is up for consideration for a Disney Channel original movie for the 2016 holiday season.
"There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very
much!" Banks tells Variety. "I'm just joking with you, but yes, I
am going to be Eve."
Banks, who will also executive produce the follow-up, reveals
co-star Lohan hasn't signed on for the sequel.
"We have not talked about casting at all so I have no idea who is
going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve. We
haven’t gotten to that."
News of Banks' Life-Size sequel comes a day before her hit reality
competition series America's Next Top Model comes to an end on
Friday night (04Dec15), after 22 seasons.
In addition, Banks revealed last month (Nov15) she is leaving her
talk show FABLife after just two months to focus on her new
cosmetics line.
The supermodel began hosting the daytime talk show alongside John
Legend's pregnant wife, Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee,
interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley in
September (15).
