Tracy Morgan in talks for first film role after tragic accident
Actor Tracy Morgan is preparing to make his return to the big screen in his first new movie project since he was seriously injured in a fatal car accident last year (14).
The former 30 Rock star suffered severe head trauma and broken bones in the New Jersey crash in June, 2014, which claimed the life of his comedian pal James 'Jimmy Mack' McNair.
Morgan is slowly returning to the spotlight and he received a
standing ovation as he hit the stage at the Emmy Awards on Sunday
(20Sep15) to present a prize.
Now he is gearing up for his film comeback after entering
negotiations for a role in Ice Cube and Charlie Day's upcoming
comedy, Fist Fight, about two teachers who clash at school.
Dennis Haysbert is also in talks for a part, while JoAnna Garcia
Swisher has signed on as Day's pregnant onscreen wife.
Morgan will return to his roots at sketch show Saturday Night Live
in October (15) as one of the show's celebrity hosts.
