Tom Cruise no longer the man from U.N.C.L.E.

Tom Cruise has reportedly dropped out of the movie adaptation of cult TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
The actor was slated to portray agent Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer in director Guy Ritchie's film, but according the The Hollywood Reporter, his deal was never closed and now he has walked away from the project.
Hammer is still onboard to play Solo's Soviet sidekick Illya
Kuryakin and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is in negotiations for
the female lead.
Cruise isn't the first big name to quit the project - George
Clooney had been attached to play Solo, while Channing Tatum,
Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender have all
previously been considered for the role, according to reports.
