Toby Keith's daughter almost killed by drunk driver

Country star Toby Keith's daughter and her family narrowly escaped death in a car accident on Tuesday (04Jul17) after their station wagon was hit by a drunk driver.

Krystal Keith and her family were on their way to an Independence Day fireworks display when the dramatic accident took place.

She took to Facebook on Friday (07Jul17) to assure followers she, her husband Andrew Sandubrae and their daughter were OK, posting pictures of her wrecked car.

"Our 4th turned pretty horrific," she writes. "Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it’s gonna take some time to heal.

"Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE."
