Tia Mowry pregnant with baby number two

Actress Tia Mowry is pregnant with her second child.

The Sister, Sister star took to Instagram on Wednesday (08Nov17) to share her happy news with fans, posting a photo of her husband, actor Cory Hardrict, and their six-year-old son Cree kissing her large baby bump.

Tia simply captioned the sweet snap with four red heart emojis, acknowledging the fact they are soon to become a family of four.

Her twin sister, fellow actress Tamera Mowry-Housley, celebrated the announcement by writing on Twitter, "Yayyyyy! Couldn't wait to tell the world. I'm going to be an auntie!!!!!"

Tia, 39, has been open about her struggle to conceive after being diagnosed with uterus condition endometriosis, but last year (16), she revealed she had overhauled her diet to try and take control of the symptoms of the disorder in a bid to fall pregnant again.

"(I do) a diet when I want to just clean myself out and get rid of inflammation in my body," she told People.com. "Endometriosis basically grows from inflammation."

Despite her lifestyle change, Tia admitted she didn't want to get their hopes up about conceiving: "(We're) trying, but I don't want to put too much hope into it. I don't want to be let down," she explained.

Tia recently shared the secrets of her dieting success in her new cookbook, Whole New You: How Real Food Transforms Your Life, for a Healthier, More Gorgeous You.

She and Cory wed in 2008.

The new addition to their family will have plenty of playmates ready and waiting - in addition to big brother Cree, the baby will also have cousins Aden, four, and Ariah, two, Tamera's children with her husband, Adam Housley.
