The Weeknd makes Billboard pop chart history by replacing himself at number one
The Weeknd has replaced himself at the top of the pop charts as his new song The Hills topples the R&B star's summer anthem Can't Feel My Face.
He becomes the first male to achieve the feat since T.I. knocked himself off the number one spot seven years ago (08), and only the 11th act to spend two weeks on top with two different songs in the history of the Billboard Hot 100.
Can't Feel My Face previously spent three non-consecutive weeks at
number one, and now slips to three, one spot behind Justin Bieber's
What Do You Mean? and ahead of Silento's Watch Me at four.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez scores her first top five hit with Good for
You, which jumps up two spots to five - one spot higher than her
2013 hit Come & Get It and last year's (14) The Heart Wants What It
Wants.
