Taylor Swift thrills paralympian with Dancing With the Stars birthday gift

Taylor Swift helped make paralympian Victoria Arlen's 23rd birthday extra special on Tuesday (26Sep17) by sending the athlete flowers and a sweet note.

The singer was actually thanking Arlen for choosing her track Look What You Made Me Do to dance to on U.S. TV show Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (25Sep17), but the thoughtful gift arrived on her birthday.

She was handed the flowers and a note by co-host Erin Andrews on Tuesday's show and was clearly thrilled.

"Victoria, you are incredible and I was so honored you danced to my song. I'm so inspired by you. Love, Taylor," the pop star wrote.

The birthday girl said, "I danced to her song 22 when I turned 22 on my last birthday, so I danced to her yesterday for this birthday... It was an honor to dance to her song... and the fact that she saw it and loved it means a lot to us for sure. Those flowers are gorgeous!"

Arlen only started walking again last year (16), after a four-year battle with spinal cord condition transverse myelitis and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.
