Taylor Swift shakes off love split at Liberty Ross' star-studded birthday bash

Newly-single singers Taylor Swift and Mary J. Blige danced their cares away while celebrating model Liberty Ross' birthday on Saturday night (24Sep16).

The Shake It Off star split from actor Tom Hiddleston last month (Sep16), while the R&B star filed for divorce from husband Kendu Isaacs in July (16), but on Saturday, it looked like both were doing just fine on their own as they partied at the Malibu home Liberty shares with her music mogul husband Jimmy Iovine, as she celebrated her 38th birthday.

According to Us Weekly, Taylor spent a lot of her time with Gwyneth Paltrow, and was in good spirits the entire night.

"Gwyneth was dancing with Taylor and hanging out with her a lot," the insider tells the publication. "They seemed like good friends. Taylor was in an amazing mood and very social," while another source reveals, "Taylor was also busting moves with Mary J. Blige on the dance floor for a while... Mary J. ruled the dance floor. She was dancing up a storm with everyone all night."

Both Taylor and Mary J took to a photo booth to pose for photos with friends, with Taylor's hairstylist Gareth Bromell took to Instagram to show off shots of him and the pop star goofing off, while actor/stylist O'Neal McKnight also shared a photo collage featuring Taylor, Mary J, Liberty, and singer Danielle Haim posing for the camera.

He also shared photo booth pictures of other A-list guests including Mick Jagger, James Corden, his wife Julia Carey, and Iovine.

Other stars reportedly in attendance were Chris Rock, Dr. Dre, Cindy Crawford, and Danny DeVito, while DJ Cassidy provided the music and rappers LL Cool J and Q-Tip made surprise appearances at the party, which went on until 3am.

Liberty and Jimmy's parties have quickly become legendary in Hollywood circles - at their Valentine's Day (14Feb) wedding ceremony earlier this year (16), they exchanged vows in front of the likes of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Pharrell Williams, Oprah Winfrey, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Eminem, Sir Paul McCartney, and Stevie Nicks.

Liberty met Iovine following her split from filmmaker husband Rupert Sanders. Their marriage broke down after his affair with his Snow White & The Huntsman leading lady Kristen Stewart was made public in 2012.
