Taylor Swift's Bad Blood breaks Vevo viewing record
Taylor Swift's star-studded new Bad Blood promo has shattered viewing records on video sharing website Vevo after over 20 million fans checked it out during its first 24 hours.
Swift's video views break those of Nicki Minaj's Anaconda, which debuted in August (14) with 19.6 million views in a day.
Swift's promos have now been watched almost five billion times on
Vevo.
Bad Blood, which features Swift and a bevvy of famous pals
including Hailee Steinfeld, Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, Karlie
Kloss, Cindy Crawford, Lily Aldridge, Ellie Goulding and Selena
Gomez, debuted at the beginning of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards
last Sunday night (17May15).
Thrilled Swift, who kicked off her 1989 U.S. tour in Louisiana on
Wednesday night (20May15) responded the to the news with a series
of excited tweets, thanking fans, her video co-stars and director
Joseph Kahn.
