Taylor Swift leads American Country Awards nominations
Taylor Swift looks set to be the belle of the ball at the 2013 American Country Awards again after landing eight nominations for the 10 December (13) prizegiving.
Among her haul are nods for the coveted Artist of the Year honor, Artist of the Year: Female and Touring Artist of the Year.
Cruise hitmakers Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton have both
landed seven nominations apiece and will compete with Swift for
Artist of the Year. Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan are also up for the
big award.
Aldean, Bryan and Shelton will also compete for the Artist of the
Year: Male prize alongside Kenny Chesney and Eric Church, while
Swift will be up against newlywed Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow,
Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood for the female equivalent, and
the Artist of the Year: Duo or Group award will be contested by
Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry and
the Zac Brown Band.
The 2013 ACAs, hosted by Trace Adkins and racing car driver Danica
Patrick, will be held in Las Vegas.
