Taylor Swift comforts new boyfriend at site of his mother's grave

Country star Taylor Swift comforted her boyfriend Conor Kennedy as they visited the site of his mother's grave in Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Sunday (19Aug12).

The Love Story hitmaker, who went public with her new relationship earlier this month (Aug12), joined the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his younger siblings - Kyra, William and Aiden - at the Xavier Cemetery in Hyannis to pay tribute to his mom, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who committed suicide in May (12).

In a series of photos, obtained by the New York Daily News, Swift, wearing a floral dress and black sunglasses, can be seen holding the teen's hand and bowing her head in prayer, as other relatives gathered around the unmarked plot.

The touching event capped off a weekend of fun for the new couple - the singer, who recently purchased a beach side home next to the Kennedy compound, escorted Conor to his cousin Kyle's wedding on Saturday (18Aug12).
