Taylor Momsen too ill for touring festival

Actress and rocker Taylor Momsen's band The Pretty Reckless have been forced to scrap a festival tour to allow the singer time to recover from laryngitis.

The band was the star attraction on the 2014 SnoCore Tour, which was set to begin with a date in Nebraska on Wednesday (29Jan14). As a result of Momsen's illness, the 19-concert trek has been axed.

A spokesperson for the band says, "Due to acute laryngitis and walking pneumonia, Taylor Momsen has been placed on vocal rest for the time being.

"The band regrets this inconvenience to all the fans who bought tickets, which will be refunded at the point of purchase, and look forward to seeing everyone later in the year."
