Tatyana Ali is a first-time mom

Actress Tatyana Ali has given birth to her first child.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star and husband Dr. Vaughn Raspberry welcomed their son into the world last week (ends16Sep16), according to E! News. Other details about the birth and baby have yet to be released.

"Tatyana gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Friday, September 16," a representative for the actress says. "Tatyana is home resting comfortably with her newborn."

The 37-year-old actress, who played Ashley Banks on Will Smith's hit TV show, exchanged vows with Dr. Raspberry in July (16), months after announcing her pregnancy, while she was planning the nuptials.

"Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely," Tatyana said. "We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing!"

And the wedding appears to have done just that.

"It was truly a magical and heartfelt ceremony," Tatyana's wedding planner Michael Russo told Entertainment Tonight. "Tatyana was glowing as she walked down the aisle."

Ali and Raspberry have been dating for almost two years, since hooking up on a dating website.

"Vaughn and I met on eHarmony!" she previously revealed. "It was my first time dating online. We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype, and then, of course, met."

"He took me on a 45-minute hike in the Redwoods (in California), which he knows I absolutely love," Ali shared, "and proposed in the most picturesque clearing. Just the two of us. It was so thoughtful and perfect."
