Stephen Amell rules himself out of Fifty Shades movie
Canadian TV star Stephen Amell has no interest in taking the coveted role of Christian Gray in the upcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Gray after reading the raunchy bestseller on a recent flight.
The Arrow star previously sent fans into a frenzy after revealing he had entered into talks to play the masochistic billionaire in a big-screen version of E.L. James' erotic novel.
But after finally getting his hands on a copy, Amell is adamant
he's not the right man for the job.
In a post on his Facebook.com page, he writes, "Was on a flight
yesterday evening back to LA with no movie, so I grabbed 50 Shades
of Gray and burned through it. Ummm... I hope they get the movie
made, and I'm sure someone will be excellent in it. That person
will not be me."
In March (13), the hunk admitted he had talked to studio bosses
about the much-anticipated project: "I get questions about
Christian Gray all the time. That project is a long way off. I know
this because I had a meeting about it. A long way off. I mean, not
that long. But not close."
