Stars hit the shops on Fashion's Night Out
Jennifer Hudson, Victoria Beckham, Pharrell Williams and Kim Kardashian were among the stars who joined in the worldwide festivities for the fourth annual Fashion's Night Out on Thursday.
The global initiative was launched in 2009 to boost the industry, and the 2012 event drew more designers and famous faces than ever as Fashion's Night Out took place in 19 cities including New York, London, Paris in France, and Milan, Italy.
Hudson debuted her new clothing line, an affordable range for curvy
women, at a pop-up shop in New York City, and was impressed by all
the well-dressed shoppers out and about.
She tells the New York Daily News, "It's like the fashion Oscars.
You walk around and you see all these different styles and you get
so inspired."
Elsewhere in the Big Apple, singer Cyndi Lauper serenaded shoppers
at Manolo Blahnik's boutique, superproducer Williams visited
Bloomingdale's to promote his collaboration with designer Mark
McNairy, and Kardashian autographed her perfume True Reflection at
department store Lord + Taylor.
Beckham teamed up with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who
founded Fashion's Night Out, as they welcomed shoppers into
Bergdorf Goodman's flagship store in Manhattan.
