Stars donate music prizes to auction for Sandy Hook
Taylor Swift, Tim Mcgraw and Fun. are among the stars who have donated music memorabilia to an auction benefiting those affected by the Sandy Hook school massacre.
Gotye, The Eagles and Lisa Marie Presley have also raided their personal collections for items to sell off in the Music For Newtown fundraiser, which is being held to generate money for locals rebuilding their lives following the tragic Newtown, Connecticut shooting in December (12).
The Love Story hitmaker and the Hotel California legends have
offered up signed guitars, indie rockers fun. have autographed a
copy of their album Some Nights and Gotye has donated a vinyl
limited-edition of his record Making Mirrors.
Presley has signed a tambourine for the auction, while McGraw and
pop star Mika have handed over tickets to upcoming shows.
All proceeds from the sale will go towards the Sandy Hook School
Support Fund, which was set up following a shooting which claimed
the lives of 20 children and six adults.
