Sophie Turner worries fame could stop her finding love
Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner fears being in the public eye could restrict her chances of finding a boyfriend.
The 20-year-old rose to fame as Sansa Stark in the hit HBO drama series and will soon be seen in Marvel blockbuster X-Men: Apocalypse.
After the movie's trailer was released earlier this year (16), the
Brit has received a number of emails from people she used to know
before hitting the big time.
"Especially boys, going, like, ‘Hey Sophie… do you fancy going out
sometime?’" she laughed to Britain's Sunday Times Style magazine.
“It’s funny when men approach me, because most of them know what I
do and you never know where they’re coming from. It’s
difficult.”
Sophie previously enjoyed a short romance with British singer James
McVey from boyband The Vamps, but is currently single, and isn't
sure how easy it will be to find a lasting love.
"The only relationship I’ve had is with someone who was in the
industry, and I think if I dated someone who wasn’t, the difference
would inhibit the relationship, just because you’re constantly
traveling," she confessed. "Also, you never know if people really
like you for you. Someone who’s been in that situation themselves
understands. I suppose you find a way to work things out.”
However Sophie doesn't like to stress about her single status too
much, and enjoys letting her hair down when she isn't filming.
Having recently moved to North London from her family home in
English county of Warwickshire, and is loving living in the
capital.
"I sleep in until 3pm most days that I’m not working,” she
admitted. “I’m big on London clubbing — not posh places, because
heels are not my thing. But I love partying. I’m a party girl. I
don’t drink much, because I don’t really like alcohol, so I have
shots. That’s the fastest way to get a night going, isn’t it?”
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on 19 May (16).
