Sick A$AP Rocky cancels Rihanna shows

Rihanna's world tour has been dealt another blow after her opening act, rapper A$Ap Rocky, pulled out of two shows due to illness.

The singer's Diamonds shows got off to a rocky start earlier this month (Mar13) when she fell sick with laryngitis, forcing her to call off the second and third dates of the trek.

The tour subsequently got back on track, but now her support act has also fallen ill.

A$AP Rocky was unable to perform at Rihanna's shows in Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois on Thursday (21Mar13) and Friday (22Mar13), and the singer issued an apology through her Twitter.com page.

She uploaded a photograph of notice confirming A$AP Rocky's cancellation due to health issues, adding, "Sorry Detroit Chicago ASAP (sic) really wanted to be there for you guys! We wish him a speedy covery (recovery)!"
