Sia's video star launches clothing line for teens

The teenage star of Sia's videos has launched her own clothing line.

Maddie Ziegler, 13, shot to fame after appearing as Sia's mini-me in the Chandelier promo and she has since appeared in the singer's videos for Elastic Heart, Big Girls Cry, and Cheap Thrills, and she is using her growing fame to launch a collection for girls her age.

Maddie gave PeopleStyle a first look at her namesake line earlier this week (beg29Aug16) and video of her collection went viral on Thursday (01Sep16).

In one clip she says, "I'm very excited about it because this whole line is pretty much clothes that I'd want to wear.

"There's a gap I feel. Kids' clothes are either too childish or something I would never wear. And sometimes adult clothes are either too big on me or it’s just too grown up for me. I’m really excited to find the in-between so we can relate to what we want to wear instead of trying to look like something we’re not."

The 30-piece collection features flannel shirts, high-waisted jeans, baseball T-shirts, sweaters and tops featuring the line: "Wear what moves you".

Describing her own look as "casual chic and tomboyish yet girly", Maddie adds, "The looks are comfy and versatile, with pieces you can mix and match... These are all pieces you can dance in. I want everyone to feel comfortable and not restrictive."

The Maddie collection will be available to buy online at maddiestyle.com on 3 October (16), and at select Nordstrom stores a week later.
