Selena Gomez struggles with career transition
Selena Gomez is struggling to shake off her child star image, insisting she sometimes feels as though she is still 15.
The Come + Get It hitmaker, who found fame on Disney's supernatural sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place in 2007, is young at heart and has not found it easy making the transition into adult pop stardom.
In an interview with JLS star Marvin Humes on U.K. chat show
Lorraine, the 21 year old says, "I think everybody has a journey
and you feel you have to love at the end of the day. There is not
really a formula. I don't really know if I have fully made the
transition yet.
"I feel like half the time I feel like I'm 15 and then I feel like
I'm 21 then I feel like I'm 30 when I'm sitting at home by myself
on a Friday night watching the same episode of Friends."
Earlier this week, Gomez played down reports she is turning her
back on music to focus on acting, saying, "First of all, I'm a girl
so I change my mind all the time. I love acting as well so I've
been trying to balance both as best as I can, but I love both so
much."
