Selena Gomez hid from Brad Pitt at MTV Movie Awards

Selena Gomez was so nervous about meeting Brad Pitt backstage at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (14Apr13) she hid under a table.

The singer/actress was resting in her dressing room after her performance at the big show when an assistant told her the movie star was looking for her and wanted to meet her.

She says, "They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in'. I was trying to play it cool and be really nice and as soon as he walked out I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes, because I couldn't believe it was happening."

Pitt explained his kids were big fans of her TV show The Wizards of Waverly Place and he was hoping to grab a photo of him with Gomez to take home.

But the nervous singer admits there was too much happening, the snap didn't happen, although she was thrilled to meet Pitt, adding, "He's so pretty."
