Scott Eastwood lands first major lead role in The Longest Ride adaptation

Clint Eastwood's actor son Scott Eastwood has landed the lead role in the much-anticipated adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' 2013 novel The Longest Ride.
The film will centre upon a 91-year-old man who reflects on his life with his deceased wife, while trapped in his car following a crash.
Eastwood, 28, will play Luke Collins, who falls in love with a
college senior while the elderly man is telling his story, in his
first major studio leading role, according to Deadline.com.
Notorious and Soul Food filmmaker George Tillman, Jr. is directing
the movie, which is due to hit theatres in April, 2015.
