Sam Claflin was left in agony on the set of The Hunger Games sequel after he "broke his hand" during rehearsals, according to his co-star Alan Ritchson.
Ritchson has revealed the Brit was involved in a nasty accident during practice for a stunt scene on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and hurt his hand while grappling with a stunt performer.
The star tells E! Online, "Sam got hurt the worst. He broke his
hand doing a stunt... He broke it on the stunt guy, warming up. I
was standing right next to him. It was tough to watch... (He) took
it like a champ - he took it and kept moving."
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second big screen adaptation
of Suzanne Collins' popular book series, is due to hit cinemas in
November (13).
