Salon backs up Amanda Bynes over naked visit reports

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes has been vindicated over claims she wandered around a New York tanning salon completely naked - CCTV footage proves the star was not "acting inappropriately", according to bosses of the establishment.

The 26 year old threatened to sue the editors of In Touch over an online article suggesting she caused "quite a scene" during a visit to Beach Bum Tanning in the Big Apple when she allegedly walked through the main salon area naked.

The star, who is currently facing a string of legal issues in Los Angeles for a number of traffic offenses, denied the reports, and now Beach Bum Tanning CEO James Oliver has backed up Bynes' version of events.

He tells UsMagazine.com, "Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately. She is a long-time client and we stand by her account."
