RYAN REYNOLDS FOUGHT CLAUSTROPHOBIA FEAR FOR BURIED

Ryan Reynolds was forced to face up to a lifelong fear when he was locked in a coffin for new movie Buried - the actor is claustrophobic.

In the film, Ryan Reynolds stars as a trucker who is kidnapped in Iraq and buried alive, and he spent two weeks shooting in a prop coffin to finish the underground sequence.

Ryan Reynolds "emerged skinless", battered and bruised - and even with a small bald spot - from rubbing against the wood for hours on end.

But dealing with his anxiety was the worst part: "Even elevators start to feel like a large sweater to me. Big spaces agree with me just fine."
