Russell Brand laughs off fake death reports

Russell Brand saw the funny side of a death hoax which swept the web over the weekend (25-26Aug12).

The star was the latest in a long line of celebrities to be the target of Internet pranksters, who claimed he had died in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.

However, the Brit managed to take the lies lightly, mocking the rumours on his Twitter.com page.

He wrote, "I better cancel the milk," along with a link to the fake death post.

Brad Pitt, Jeff Goldblum and Denzel Washington have all previously been victims of death hoaxes.
