British actor Rupert Grint looks set to follow in the footsteps of his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe by heading to the West End in a gritty gangland play.
The 24 year old, who starred as Ron Weasley in the wizard franchise, is in talks to make his theater debut in Mojo, about the seedy underworld of 1950s London.
Grint has already been involved in a read-through of the play, and
producers are keen to hire him to star opposite Skyfall actor Ben
Whishaw, according to Britain's Daily Mail.
Radcliffe has made a name for himself in the West End and on
Broadway, appearing on stage in Equus and How to Succeed in
Business Without Really Trying, while he is currently starring in a
London production of The Cripple of Inishmaan.
