Lindsay Lohan to leave Los Angeles after rehab
Lindsay Lohan will be leaving the temptations of Hollywood behind for good by moving back to her native New York after she completes her current stint in rehab later this month (Jul13).
The Mean Girls actress is currently a resident at the Cliffside clinic in Malibu, California, where she is taking part in a court-ordered 90-day treatment program in lieu of jail time after pleading no contest to charges relating to a car crash last summer (12).
Lohan's latest stint in rehab, her sixth in recent years, will be
over by the end of July (13), and Lohan's mother Dina has revealed
the star has no intention of returning to live in Los Angeles.
She tells the New York Daily News, "She's not going to live in Los
Angeles. She will definitely start back home (in New York) with all
of us (her family)."
The rules set out by rehab bosses meant Lohan was alone on her 27th
birthday on Tuesday (02Jul13) and Dina reveals family members sent
cards and presents in the mail as they were not allowed to visit:
"It was a very calm, low-key birthday. We couldn't visit because it
(her birthday) fell during the week, but we mailed her cards and
gifts."
However, Lohan can expect a visit from her relatives soon and she
will be treated to proper party once she gets out of rehab. Dina
adds, "We're going to work it out to all go visit her again, and
then we're planning the pool party."
