Robin Thicke has Paula Patton on his mind onstage

Robin Thicke is telling fans he's fighting to get his wife back - and he's hoping his voice will melt her heart.

The crooner and actress Paula Patton announced their split at the end of last month (Feb14), prompting Thicke to scrap a string of concerts.

He was back onstage in Washington D.C., on Thursday (27Feb14), when he told devotees, "I want everybody here to know that I'm trying to get my girl back," before singing his 2007 hit Lost Without U, which Patton inspired.

And the actress was still on his mind when he performed in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sunday night (02Mar14) - when one fan yelled, "I love Paula!" he responded, "I do too," before belting out a cover of Al Green's Let's Stay Together.

While Thicke was on the road, Patton was in Hollywood enjoying the awards season's final events, the Oscars and Independent Spirit Awards.
