Ricky Wilson splits from long-term girlfriend

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has split from his long-term girlfriend.

The British rocker and TV producer Lesley Williams called it quits in 2014 after five years together, but kept the break-up under wraps.

Wilson admits they struggled to cope with the publicity that came with his new role as a judge on The Voice U.K., telling Britain's Fabulous magazine, "I took the risk of putting myself out there (on the show) and and I knew it was going to change me... I felt quite uncomfortable that I dragged someone else in who didn't want that. It's a huge part of my life and I find it tricky that I can't have it both ways."

Wilson has starred in the TV talent show for two series.
