Rebel Wilson banned from presenting Miley Cyrus at musical festival

Comedienne Rebel Wilson was banned from introducing Miley Cyrus to fans at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last weekend (21Sep13) after the pop star's managers objected to the jokes she had prepared.

The Pitch Perfect star was set to appear as a presenter during Saturday's events to welcome Britney Spears and Cyrus to the stage, but she was cut from the show after apparently offending the We Can't Stop hitmaker's handlers with her planned speech, which referenced the 20 year old's raunchy 'twerking'-style dance moves.

She explains, "(Her) management got a copy of my jokes and then I was banned. But the jokes weren't that bad! It was like, 'Miley Cyrus got to the top through her raw talent and hard Twerk.' It wasn't even that bad!"

Spears ended up replacing Wilson to announce the former Hannah Montana star's arrival to the stage.
