Ray J: 'Wedding was everything I hoped for'
R&B star-turned-TV personality Ray J was in tears as he watched his bride walk down the aisle over the weekend (13-14Aug16).
The One Wish singer, who co-starred in Kim Kardashian's Kim K Superstar sex tape, exchanged vows with Princess Love in a lavish ceremony at the Vibiana in Los Angeles on Friday (12Aug16).
The nuptials were everything the 35-year-old was hoping for and he
couldn't contain his emotions.
"When I heard the music and I saw her come down, I lost it," he
tells People.com. "I was like, I'm just gonna let it go and enjoy
the love and positive emotion. I got real happy as the tears
dropped."
"It was everything I thought it was supposed to be in my dreams,"
he adds.
The couple has experienced its fair share of issues over the years,
but Princess insists they were willing to do whatever it took to
get down the aisle.
"I just love him to the point where it doesn't matter what he
does," she says. "He's the only person I've ever been with that I
couldn't see myself without."
And Ray J admits the couple's trials and tribulations have taught
him all about love.
"I've been learning how to listen and understand, and now we're at
this moment where we're together and it's official," he says. "We
both have the same last name. I'm so happy that everything worked
out and Princess allowed me to come into her life and be the best
man for her."
Ray J proposed to the 31-year-old with an eight-carat halo diamond
in December last year (15), just months after she was reportedly
charged with domestic abuse and battery.
Love allegedly beat up Ray J in February, 2015, leaving him with
cracked ribs, a split lip, and a torn ligament in his knee.
However, all was quickly forgiven and the singer bailed his lover
out of jail and covered her legal fees.
This is the first marriage for both.
