Rachel McAdams' love poem helped co-star get in the mood for romance
Rachel Mcadams recorded a love poem for her About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson to get him in the mood for intimate scenes with her on the set.
The actor reveals he listened to her poetry reading every morning in a bid to get all loved-up for the day's romance.
He tells WENN, "I spent some time creating the romance... I got
Rachel to record a poem for me and I would listen in the morning
before I'd go work. I'd also listen to the song Mid Air by Paul
Buchanan every morning when I got up and I spent a lot of time just
thinking about love. That got me in the mood."
But that was all destroyed by director Richard Curtis the minute he
and McAdams started shooting.
Gleeson adds, "Richard was in the corner like some pervert looking
at us saying, 'That looks great, guys'. I'm like, 'Jesus, don't say
that Richard!'"
