Written by . Published: March 04 2015
R. Kelly and Lady Gaga will headline a civil rights concert on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama on Saturday (07Mar15), following what is sure to be a stirring speech from President Barack Obama.
The leader will be there to commemorate the anniversary of the Selma-to-Montgomery march, which featured in Oscar nominated movie Selma.
John Legend and Common recently performed their Oscar-winning Best
Song Glory on the bridge, and this time it will be Gaga and R.
Kelly leading the celebrations.
T.I., Young Breezy and the Impressions are also billed to perform,
while U2 star Bono, Ruben Studdard, former president George W. Bush
and Selma cast members are expected to attend this year's memorial
bridge crossing ceremony.
