Prince Harry named world's most eligible bachelor

British royal Prince Harry has taken over the title of World's Most Eligible Bachelor from Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney.

The Ocean's Eleven star has held the title for three consecutive years in the annual poll by the Crown Clinic in Manchester, England, but he has now been dethroned by Harry.

George was out of the running this year (15) following his marriage to British lawyer Amal in Italy in September, 2014.

Prince Harry came in top ahead of former One Direction star Zayn Malik in second place and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio in third.

The top 10 also features British pop star Ed Sheeran, Superman actor Henry Cavill and One Direction's Harry Styles.

Crown Clinic hair transplant surgeon Asim Shahmalak says, "It's no surprise that Prince Harry is the world's most eligible bachelor - we all love him because he is a fun guy who doesn't take life too seriously... It is a great message, too, that we have two redheads in the top five with Ed Sheeran coming in at number four."
