Prince Harry has landed a new job as a military events co-ordinator after completing his service with the Army Air Corps unit.

The 29 year old has spent the last few years as a member of the armed forces, flying helicopters, and even serving on the front line during two deployments in Afghanistan.

The Prince is now leaving his role to take up a new post based in central London as a military events planner.

Harry will retain his rank of captain and his new duties will include organising major commemorative events involving the army.

A statement from Kensington Palace reads, "Prince Harry has completed his attachment to 3 Regiment Army Air Corps and will now take up a Staff Officer role in (London)... His responsibilities will include helping to co-ordinate significant projects and commemorative events involving the Army in London."

Harry's career move comes shortly after his elder brother, Prince William, announced he would be going back to university to study agriculture after stepping down from his job as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot.
