Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pictured together for the first time
British royal Prince Harry has been photographed with his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle for the first time.
The 32-year-old confirmed he was dating the Suits actress in an official Kensington Palace statement last month (Nov16) and while the American has been spotted in London on previous occasions, they were finally pictured together for the first time on Wednesday night (14Dec16), when they went on a theater date.
In photos obtained by The Sun newspaper, the couple was pictured
walking hand in hand on a busy London street before heading into
the Apollo Theater to watch West End festive comedy Peter Pan Goes
Wrong.
"Harry has said his privacy is important to him but they are
clearly not afraid to be seen in public together," a source told
the publication. "They are clearly crazy about each other and have
told friends they are very much in love."
Harry and Meghan, who were dressed casually in denim jeans and
beanie hats, were accompanied by just one royal protection
officer.
Meghan, 35, reportedly flew into the U.K. from her base in Toronto,
Canada on Monday and has been staying at his Nottingham Cottage in
the grounds of Kensington Palace.
They made their first public outing together earlier this week when
they went shopping for a Christmas tree in Battersea Park, South
West London, but this marks the first time they have been caught by
photographers.
Meghan has visited Harry in London a reported four times during
their estimated five-month relationship, while Harry is said to
have diverted his plane journey back to London from the Caribbean,
where he was paying a royal visit, to spend a few days in Canada
with his girlfriend.
The couple reportedly met back in May in Toronto while Harry was
visiting the city to promote the 2017 Invictus Games.
