Rapper Pitbull will ring in 2018 onstage in Miami, Florida as part of a new TV gig.

The Timber hitmaker spent the past three years hosting his New Year's Revolution party in his hometown of Miami for broadcast on the Fox network, but in November (17), TV bosses announced they were bringing in veteran comedian Steve Harvey as his replacement to front a new New Year's Eve show.

However, Pitbull has now inked a deal with broadcasters at Spanish-language network Univision to air segments of his Worldwide New Year's Eve celebration on Sunday night (31Dec17).

His performance will be included in the Feliz 2018! (Happy 2018!) live telecast, which will feature sets from stars like Carlos Vives, Luis Coronel, Chiquis, and Banda El Recodo from venues across the country.

The end-of-year bash will also be streamed online.
