PETA activists upset with Chris Brown over Fashion Week fur

Chris Brown and his on/off girlfriend Karrueche Tran have come under fire from animal rights activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing fur coats to Michael Costello's runway show during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday (17Feb15).

Tran shared a picture of the couple's outfits on Instagram.com, prompting PETA bosses to slam Brown and Tran's wardrobe choices.

In a statement issued to GossipCop.com, a PETA spokesperson writes, "There are few things more out of touch than draping yourself in the skins of animals who were beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for their fur... Chris Brown's furs are just more of the same from him: ugly violence."
